About the process and costs of membership:

How much does EREPS membership cost?

Registration is priced at €40.00 per year. Your membership starts the day payment is received.

Can you tell me what level I will be before registering with EREPS?

Unfortunately not, the validation of qualifications is often very complex and therefore this service is only available upon registration.

What happens if my qualifications are not accepted?

If your application doesn’t meet the standards, then a full refund of the registration fee is given.

What’s a ‘Status of Registration’?

EREPS is regulated through the EuropeActive educational standards. These standards have been referenced to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). The status of registration that EREPS grants to its members is based upon the occupations identified in the EuropeActive standards. For example, a Fitness Instructor is described as being EQF Level 3, and a Personal Trainer EQF Level 4.

Your membership is valid for one year, after which you are asked to renew for another year.

If you are moving to Europe from a country that currently has a recognised National Register you must register with them first so they may validate your qualifications. After which you may use their certificate to join EREPS.

Do I need insurance to join EREPS?

Yes, in order to practise as a registered fitness professional you must have either your own Liability Insurance or be covered by the insurance of your employer.

We recommend cover at €5 million, however, we do recognise national validation and will accept whatever level is required in the country in which you currently practise, be it higher or lower.
