About me...
My name is Nuno Azevedo and was born in Portugal. After living in England and Germany for a few years, I’ve moved to Holland in 2007 for work and stayed ever since. I fell in love with Holland and two years after I arrived I realized how quickly I learned the language and adapted to the Dutch culture.
My professional background is a varied. In 2001 came in touch with Swasthya Yoga from the DeRose method where I have done a teachers course.I also have a bachelor degree in Musical Theatre and worked in several musicals for the past years.
My experience as a performer taught me a lot about how the body and mind work and brought me a lot of discipline. Now I know and understand the physiological aspects to it. A year ago, I decided to enroll to become a Personal trainer, which I have concluded with a certificate in MASTER PERSONAL TRAINER.
This was the best decision I could ever make. I could combine all the knowledge that I had and with the new one help people to improve their lifestyle, health, fulfill and reach goals, know how to set goals, be aware of what to eat and most important feel great about themselves.
I use a holistic approach in my training where I combine all the techniques and experience I have learned and gained throughout the years. I am also a certified Exercise Referral Instructor that allows me to work with clients that need special considerations for exercise prescription due to some medical conditions.
I also speak fluently 5 languages (Portuguese, English, Dutch, German and Spanish) so I can train clients from different backgrounds and simply wish to speak their native language.
