Pilates Teacher - Matwork

About me:

I have spent several years working as an interpreter, thus a sedentary activity, until fifteen years ago I embarked upon learning how to dance the Tango. I said embarked because at the time I did not suspect it would mean so much to me not only for the beauty of this dance but for what it revealed to me and above all, a deep interest for body conscience and movement.
Since then, it has become a passion. Four years ago I joined Kelly McKinnon, Director of Corpus Studio Brussels to learn Pilates and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to become a Foundation and Mat Level 1 instructor. Because of the Corona pandemic I was not able to teach as I would have liked to but since I spend long periods in Spain, near Alicante, where the weather is certainly more favorable than in Belgium, I still managed to teach in the open air with the due sanitary precautions.
I do not have a specific plan at the moment but since more and more people are being vaccinated I can give private lessons either at home in Brussels or in Spain.
The tango is a useful complement : appropriate connections and fluidity of movement convey a sense of well being and an improved understanding of oneself.
I am now following the Feldenkrais Training to become instructor. The programme is intensive and lasts four years.
It opens another perspective about body and movement and it is very interesting.
