About the process and costs of membership:
What are the costs for applying for EREPS membership?
As of June 1st, 2025, the following fees apply:
-
Via a Training Provider:
-
Level 3 (Fitness Instructor): €30
-
Level 4 (Personal Trainer): €30
-
Both Levels (combined): €60
-
Individual Applications (direct to EREPS):
-
Level 3: €40
-
Level 4: €40
-
Both Levels (combined): €80
Can you tell me what level I will be before registering with EREPS?
Unfortunately not, the validation of qualifications is often very complex and therefore this service is only available upon registration.
What is your refund policy for applications or accreditations?
From June 1st, 2025, where any refund is requested (e.g., for a training provider accreditation, re-accreditation, LLP, or EREPS application), EuropeActive will retain 50% of the fees paid. This covers the administrative cost of processing and refunding applications. This policy aligns with our existing approach for accreditation services.
Any bank charges incurred during the transaction will be passed on to the payer. EuropeActive can no longer absorb these fees due to current economic pressures.
What’s a ‘Status of Registration’?
EREPS is regulated through the EuropeActive educational standards. These standards have been referenced to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). The status of registration that EREPS grants to its members is based upon the occupations identified in the EuropeActive standards. For example, a Fitness Instructor is described as being EQF Level 3, and a Personal Trainer EQF Level 4.
How long does EREPS membership last?
Your membership is valid for one year, after which you are asked to renew for another year.
