A comprehensive nutrition coaching certification for entry level and experienced fitness
professionals (i.e., personal trainers, group exercise instructors, wellness coaches)
delivered in an immersive online experience that combines current evidence-based
information on the science of nutrition along with behavior change and coaching
strategies to accommodate any client.

What will the individual (learner) be able to ?be? once completing?
By successfully completing NASM?s Nutrition Coach Specialization, the fitness
professional will have the knowledge and abilities to leverage nutrition education to
increase client success, reduce turnover, and maximize adherence. They can
successfully work as a Nutrition Coach for face-to-face and online clients.
What will the individual (learner) be able to ?do? once completing?
NASM?s Nutrition Coaching Specialization will enable its recipients to provide
evidence-based guidance to those seeking to improve body composition, athletic
performance, and/or health. Recipients will be expertly skilled at designing nutritional
programs that meet the requirements of a wide range of goals of apparently healthy
individuals in commercial and private gym settings or online. Held to the highest
standard of research-based theory and practice, NASM?s Nutrition Certification
recipients will be capable of providing coaching to individuals, as well as providing
consulting and education at the group/organization level.
