Margherita is a professional dancer, choreographer, a qualified movement specialist, personal trainer, Pilates and Gyrotonic teacher and the creator of the KinetiCode®️ methodology.
She has been dancing for more than fifteen years with dance companies in Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands and the United States. Besides her dance career, she studied Laban Movement Analysis at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, and she is graduated in Semiotic of Movement at the Bologna University. Margherita got her Pilates certifications in B.A.S.I Body Art and Science International Pilates. She specialised with Elizabet Larkam and Karen Clippinger, in Pilates applied to dancers and the fascia technique. She received her education in the Gyrotonic Expansion System in Germany, with J. Horvath, inventor of GXS.
She graduate at NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and P. C.H.E.K. Institute for Functional Training in London. She became a performance/ rehabilitation specialist at EXOS Athletes Performance in Phoenix, Arizona. She followed mentorships from Prof. McGill and Dr. Craig S. Liebenson.
From 2007 she directed several studios specialised in personal training, Pilates and Gyrotonic.
In 2009 together with an international team, she developed a three-dimensional methodology call KinetiCode®️, which is specially developed for improving top sport performance of dancers and athletes.
In 2018 she created K/C Move Studio in Amsterdam, the first boutique concept based on the KinetiCode®️ methodology. ( see www.kcmove.nl)
In 2020 she launched a digital platform www.kcmove.com offering K/C Academy (educational programs) and K/C Hub (video on demand).
