FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT EXPERT
Certified Functional Movement Screen (FMS) practitioner since 2012. (The 1st in Südtirol). This forms the basis of my assessment and corrective strategies.
I also incorporate the principals Functional Stability Training (from CSP) into all my programs.
Using these systems allows me to identify and address limitations and weaknesses in order to improve functional performance whilst reducing the risk of injury.
INTERNATIONAL FITNESS MODEL
For over 20 years I have worked as a commercial model, specialising in fitness & ‘body’ work
Whilst working around the world I have learned how to stay in shape as efficiently as possible, mainly using bodyweight exercises. In the future I hope to share this knowledge and help others how to do the same!
HOME FITNESS SPECIALIST
My new HOME-FIT program combines my experience of bodyweight training with the principals of performance training, and functional movement.
The result is an effective full-body program that will improve all aspects of your fitness, from body composition & cardiovascular health to functional movement.
ALIGNMENT IN NEUTRAL: Whatever you’re training for, it always comes back to the basics. Good posture & movement quality is the foundation of your fitness. If you’re training out of alignment then you are just setting yourself up for problems.
PROXIMAL TO DISTAL: Talking about basics, it all starts with the core. Get the core working properly and often the rest sorts itself out. Almost every exercise comes back to the core.
DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY: My training system can use a wide variety of different training methods, including: Breathing Drills, Pilates, Bodyweight Training, Traditional Strength Training, Olympic Lifts, Kettlebell Training, Resistance Band Training, Speed & Agility Drills, Jump Training and more…
