EuropeActive have recently appointed Colin Huffen from the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical (CIMSPA) to its Professional Standards Committee (PSC).
EREPS Ambassador Anna Bogdanova has joined the EuropeActive's Professional Standards Committee (PSC) replacing Alexis Batrakoulis as Deputy Director. The PSC mission is to develop educational standards for the occupations of the European health and fitness sector, providing the credibility and recognition of this sector by ensuring high, comparable and standardised levels of education.
A major new agreement on national representation has been signed between the three main fitness organisations in Poland. The Polish Fitness Federation (PFF), Fitness Employer’s Federation (FPF) and Polish Association of Personal Trainers (PZTP) have come together in an historic union to cooperate in representing the Polish fitness industry and have already been recognised as National Association partner of EuropeActive.

Well, it's been another year. And it went by too fast, but doesn't it always? The EREPS team looks back on 2019 with pleasure; happy that we were able to achieve these outcomes and to have been working with a great number of people and organisations from within the fitness industry. Our social media statistics went through the roof in 2019 (especially Instagram), we welcomed a big number of new EREPS members and added new employees to our team. Julian Berriman is the Director of the Professional Standards Committee of EuropeActive. This commitee is the leading body in developing the occupations and registration of professionals of the European health and fitness sector, with EREPS - the European Register of Exercise Professionals - being the centre of all. The committee also monitors the developments across and outside the industry to ensure that the European framework and standards for the fitness sector are fit for purpose and up to date.
